| MEMBERSHIP PARTICULARS |
| Eligibility |
Any Mill engaged in textile and clothing manufacturing activities registered under any law for the time being in force in India having an installed capacity of not less than 6,000 spindles or having an average annual turnover of Rs.10 crore or more during the immediately preceding financial year is eligible to become a member of the Association.
The admission fee is Rs.5000/- per member

| Subject to Rule 47, as to entrance fee the rate of annual subscription shall be: |

Rs.675/- for every 1000 installed spindles subject to a minimum of Rs.8,400/- and a maximum of Rs.22,500/- in respect of each individual mill or unit. |
|
Rs.675/- for every one crore sales turnover per annum subject to a minimum of Rs.8,400/- and a maximum of Rs.22,500/- in respect of each individual processing, knitting, garments or every units connected with the textile industry. |

|
In case of mills having open - end spinning like rotor spinning and air-jet spinning one rotor/drum shall be treated as equivalent to five ring spindles. |
|
In case of mills having doubling, one doubling spindle shall be treated as equivalent to one ring spindle and for mills having Two-for One Twister, one drum shall be treated as equivalent to two ring spindles. |
|
In case of composite mills:
| (1) |
One ordinary plain loom shall be treated as equivalent to 35 ring spindles; |
| (2) |
One automatic loom (like Ruti C) shall be treated as equivalent to 50 ring spindles |
| (3) |
One shuttleless rapier loom shall be treated as equivalent to 120 ring spindles |
| (4) |
One shuttleless air/water jet loom shall be treated as equivalent to 140 ring spindles |
| (5) |
One shuttleless projectile loom shall be treated as equivalent to 160 ring spindles. |

Installed ring spindles, shall be rounded off to the nearest thousand spindles for the purpose of calculation of subscription. |
|
The sales turnover, shall be rounded off to the nearest rupees one crore for the purpose of calculation of subscription. |
|
In case of firms, co-operative societies, companies and corporations owning, controlling or managing more than one mill or unit situated in different campuses, the subscription shall be worked out on the basis of spindles and looms installed in each mill or unit separately or annual turnover of each mill or unit separately and on the basis of the location of the mill or unit. |
